Art is the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination.

What is fine art?

Fine art is a type of creative art, especially visual art, whose products are to be appreciated primarily or solely for their imaginative, aesthetic, or intellectual content.

What makes art valuable?

The reason art is so valuable is because each art piece is wholly original, unique, and one of a kind. There are no two exact original works of art. An artist cannot recreate the same exact work of art. Elements such as paint mixture, brush strokes, sunlight, temperatures etc. will cause differences in each work of art.

What is an NFT?

A Non-Fungible Token (NFT) is a non-interchangeable unit of data stored on a blockchain, a form of digital ledger, that can be sold and traded.

How do NFTs fit in with art?

Through blockchain technology (digital ledgers) a work of art can be traced back to its original owner/creator. NFTs have proven to be a surefire way to validate the authenticity of an art piece.
